Enjoy a unique 2-hour afternoon walking tour with an expert local guide and discover the most famous of Viennese Christmas markets.

Visit the most impressive and magnificent Christmas markets in Vienna – Am Hof, Town Hall (Rathaus) Square & Charles Square. Enjoy the sweetest smell of Christmas - the spicy aroma of traditional gingerbread and hot punch that creates the romantic atmosphere of Christmastime. Listen to stories about Austrian Christmas traditions. Stop for photos in front of the Viennese State Opera and St. Charles Church.

Meet your guide at Graben and start your afternoon walk in a small group of maximum 15 people. Graben is Vienna's most exclusive pedestrian street, the most prestigious shopping zone in the town centre with a historic plague column. Just next to Graben is located one of the oldest and most charming Christmas Markets - Am Hof. Here almost only locals are enjoying hot "Punsch" and "Glühwein". After exploring this nearly secret location, walk to the Town Hall Park and admire the most popular Viennese Christmas Market that turns Town Hall Square into red and white sparkling fairy tale land. The trees of the surrounding Town Hall park are festively decorated and gleam in an ocean of lights – an unforgettable Viennese experience is guaranteed. Continue your afternoon walk to the Art Advent market on Karlsplatz (Charles Square). Here in the shadow of wonderful Baroque architectural marvel  Austrian artists present their latest products of exquisite quality. The pond in front of the impressive St. Charles Church is turned into a unique straw playground. Stroll across the spacious square and enjoy the special atmosphere – a mix of modern art, hundreds of years old baroque architecture, and the Christmas feeling.

The stallholders here sell traditional handicraft items, modern art & vintage style Christmas decorations, traditional Austrian food and mulled wine - it’s the perfect place to finish an afternoon in Vienna.
